Sassy has produced quality offsprings with high sheen.  She reatained a 25 microns at 10 years age.  She has good density, coverage, and handle to her fiber.   

Sire : Jolimont Peruvian Alpamayo (White)

1st Place get of sire 2001 Alpaca Fest. Alpamayo, with his 21.7 micron fleece at 10 years old, has consistently produced soft handling, high crimp frequency fleeces in his offspring. The desirability of this type of fleece has been shown in the exceptional achievements of his cria in the show circuit. Both years, Alpamayo was the sire of the Supreme Champion Huacayas at SNASF.

Fuente has an AMAZING well-defined crimp from root to tip. Textbook bundling, everywhere. He is dense AND ultra fine. With a rare 15.9 AFD and a 3.5 SD at 10 months.  His coverage is exceptional. His fleece is very bright in a pure white color. Fuente has a great conformation and excellent bite.  It's official, Judge Jude Anderson's very critical assessment of Fuente's fiber was that it was the best in the show. PacaFiesta is a fall composite show so Fuente's fiber was judged against all halter entrants and fiber-only entrants. We are pleased that Jude agrees Fuente's fiber is of very high quality. He got very high marks for both FINENESS and WEIGHT.
